A lot happened

Of course, the title says it all. I ended up going to a funeral for the first time in my life. It was my Grandfather's sister's funeral. She had suffered a lot with diabetes and had bad health problems. The health problems got to her to the point that she couldn't walk anymore and had to lay in bed everyday. Though it is sad to know that she is gone, in a way I am happy. I am not morbid or cruel to the heart. I just knew that she suffered through a lot, and knowing that she has moved on now, makes me more happy than depressed.
School has started again. Now I have to stay at school everyday until 5 or 6 pm. Robotics is now my life for 6 weeks. We have our First Robotics Competition that we are entering, so for the next 6 weeks, we have to design, build, and test our bot. This is going to take most of the strength out of me. Especially since I still have so much artwork to work on, and college financial aid and scholarships that I have to fill out.

Even though I didn't plan out for a New Years Resolution, I have noticed that I have became more organized without my mother having to tell me to clean up all my mess. This is in a way positive, because even though I was organized before, I would always try loopholes since at times I would become very lazy. OH YES!!!!! For New Years Eve, Kris (best friend in the world) and I went to the skating rink, and skated until midnight hit! It was awesome and a very fun experience!

  1. ah, funerals. one of my friends died recently too.. didnt go to the funeral though as it is in arizona. it is sad, but you're right that it is also a relief in a sense. if it were you, you know that as much as you'd love to stay & live, if it is just sitting in a hospital bed in pain 24/7, it isnt such a great life.

arrrrrg robotics competition. i am extremely jealous. college is no fun at all.. in my final 2 years in highschool, me & my friends got to take part in two programming contests. probably the most excitement i've eeeever had! the first one (we were in grade 11) we actually won 1st place, then it went on to.. provincial? or national? i dont know. either way, we won. the one in grade 12, we came in 3rd out of 12 teams i think. we only completed 1 of the 4 programming problems. lol. the #1 team only completed 2 of them. it is sooo challenging but so incredibly fun, especially when you win.

we also had a "robotics competition" of sorts, but only within our own engineering class. so like 5-6 of us built these little robots and they bumped into eachother lol. nothing too amazing but still fun.

in college what have i done? nothing. its too scaled down for the idiots. and while i love that (because theres no work, even once i finish, my job will be lazyness all around), it makes it less interesting.

geeze i should just make a blog of my own.. sorry >.<

ahh skating. you any good? i used to love it, but i hadnt skated in years.. this year i did again. its soo much fun. thankfully i managed to remember how to skate enough to be decent xD
