A lot happened

Of course, the title says it all. I ended up going to a funeral for the first time in my life. It was my Grandfather's sister's funeral. She had suffered a lot with diabetes and had bad health problems. The health problems got to her to the point that she couldn't walk anymore and had to lay in bed everyday. Though it is sad to know that she is gone, in a way I am happy. I am not morbid or cruel to the heart. I just knew that she suffered through a lot, and knowing that she has moved on now, makes me more happy than depressed.
School has started again. Now I have to stay at school everyday until 5 or 6 pm. Robotics is now my life for 6 weeks. We have our First Robotics Competition that we are entering, so for the next 6 weeks, we have to design, build, and test our bot. This is going to take most of the strength out of me. Especially since I still have so much artwork to work on, and college financial aid and scholarships that I have to fill out.

Even though I didn't plan out for a New Years Resolution, I have noticed that I have became more organized without my mother having to tell me to clean up all my mess. This is in a way positive, because even though I was organized before, I would always try loopholes since at times I would become very lazy. OH YES!!!!! For New Years Eve, Kris (best friend in the world) and I went to the skating rink, and skated until midnight hit! It was awesome and a very fun experience!

Fallout 3

So I just got back into TF2 again because of the long break that I have from school. I am not satisfied with the achievement weapons and junk because of how crummy it makes the game play. Though the game hardly takes any skills to play, these new weapons really make it more childish. Sorry for the insult Valve.

Well anyways, to FO3! I have become very obsessed with this game because of the rpg and shooter features. This adventure game really keeps my mind at awake. I enjoy how there is so much quests and endless things to do. A lot of the quests I have been doing are the side quests and not the main ones. Even though enjoying Fallout 3 is such a blast, losing days is not. After playing this game so much, I realized how I have already wasted playing it for 4 days now NONSTOP. Oh why should it be this way!?!?

One thing I got back into is falling asleep while listening to music. It is really relaxing.

Was, But Not Now

I thought I would give my poetic side a little glance. Here is to 5 min. of peace. I am a nub at this:

slow down....
a little more now..
slow down...
I need some more now..
Slow down..
Stop

Why the questions when love is found
doubting me gets you nowhere in clear sound
Its another timeless wait
Can't you see that I need you dearly?

Don't you ever ask me
how was my day
shaking your head like your meaning to hear me
But we know in reality your just fake

Why the questions when love is gone
Asking me to get back with you is a silent sound
Its another timeless wait
Can't you see that I am ok now?

slow down....
a little more now..
slow down...
I am ok now
Slow down..
but don't stop

AP Art Show!!

Currently Listening to: Girls Generation - Haptic Motion ( Korean )

So last Friday, I had my artwork displayed at my school's AP Art show. It counts as our performance final grade. It gives the students a more experience of how shows are ran by planning out the brochure and invitations for the guests. I had around 30 of my drawings/designs/sculptures displayed at my table. Funny thing was during the whole show, my mom had a blast trying to convince people to eat the fried chicken wings that she had made LOL! Well anyways, sorry for the hiatus on this blog. I have been very busy with performance finals and final exams coming up that I have to cram everything into this jumbled spare time of mine. The art exhibit came out great as many guests came to see the show. We will have another show for the end of the 2nd semester showing off our breath and concentration pieces, which of course I have already started working on.

I had a fun time on the weekend playing Soul Calibur and Dead or Alive with my cousin and his friends. Fighting games has always been a fave of mine :D! I have also watched most of the drama series and movies with Jang Geun Suk ( he is now my favorite actor ) in it. Wow, I don't end up doing my posts consistently that I have to cram all my life into this one box...Enjoy!

Updated artwork

I finally had the time to put together some pictures of my artwork that I have done this year. Instead of putting them all into 1 post, I will be posting them under different various posts at different times. Since the 1st semester of high school is coming up, I have a AP 2D art show that I have to exhibit my artwork at. I will have to make invitations and brochures that my teacher will also be grading as one of our design pieces. I am very excited, but also in the same sense tired, because of all the stress that has been built on top of me. Thanks to this who come and check out my blog once in a while.

Art Insitute of Atlanta

My interview with AI was scheduled for Monday at 6PM. I was pretty nervous because i was scheduled for an interview. At SCAD it was different. They introduced the campus and explained some of the activities/classes that were offered there. AI on the other hand helped explain the different things offered by sitting down and explaining the different types of offers. I felt more comfortable and secure with AI, but I still would really love to go to SCAD. AI's campus is a bit tiny, and secluded in Dunwoody, while SCAD is in downtown Atlanta. AI's apartment type dorm is actually located 20 min. away from the campus, WTF!?!?! That is really so far and pointless to live there in the dorm, then it actually takes me 20 min to get there from my own house... Really at this point, AI is a backup college choice for me. After I apply and get all the applications in, I will just have to wait and see what the colleges have to offer for me. It is really hard debating about which one to go to, but I am confident on my choices and will be happy with whichever is chosen. It is kind of sad that education is to be dealt with by the amount of money being poured into it. Hopefully my portfolio will earn me a couple of grants and scholarships.
